I love it here. The crew is great. Kesh is still the best bartender! The manager and event staff took care of our party with allergies, effectively and with ease!

My recent visit to Maggiano's was amazing! The drink menu immediately impressed me with two standout cocktails - the House Margarita which my husband had and I had the Pomegranate Martini, both of which were exceptionally delicious and set a perfect tone for the evening. We ordered the calamari, it was expertly prepared, crisp and flavorful, creating a promising start to the meal. The main courses: Mom's Lasagna delivered a comforting, classic Italian taste that felt like a home-cooked favorite, while the steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus was a masterful combination of tender meat, creamy potatoes, and fresh, perfectly cooked vegetables. Every dish demonstrated Maggiano's commitment to quality and flavor, making it a restaurant I would enthusiastically recommend to anyone seeking a satisfying Italian-American dining experience.

This review is for their upstairs banquet rooms. I decided to host my company user meeting here and very happy with my decision. First of all the team here was fantastic. It was a pleasure working with them to ensure a smooth meeting. The meeting rooms all look the same with dark woods and you can rent a projector and screen. The ballroom space was perfect for our main general session. The WiFi was good and no one had problems connecting. Note: park at the Friendship Center in the garage. If not you will be going through the empty pavilion mall and have to walk outside around the corner. Metro is very convenient too. We did the all day meeting package which included continental breakfast (wish they varied this offering though- gets boring after the second day), lunch consisted of salad, pasta, and main entree, and dessert. No complaints about that. They also brought continuous drinks for am and pm breaks. We hosted a cocktail reception and really enjoyed ourselves. There is only one room with windows which is my one negative about the meeting rooms. Even the main downstairs too. Only one wall of windows by the entrance. Many of our customers stayed at the Embassy Suites next door. Highly recommend this place for banquet type events. On our last day, there was an afternoon/evening wedding reception here too.

Dined here for a work event and everything was delicious! For apps I highly recommend their zucchini fritte. As far as sides, their mashed potatoes and truffle Mac and cheese do not disappoint. I ordered the mom's lasagna and it was so cheesy and comforting. The restaurant itself is huge and spacious, much to my surprise judging from how it looks from outside. I definitely recommend this place if you are in friendship heights!

Saturday afternoon late lunch/birthday celebration for a dear friend. There were NO complaints from our party of 10. I'm always a fan of family style (socially AND financially). We enjoyed every appetizer and entree: (calamari, spinach artichoke dip, shrimp scampi, lasagna, chicken parmesan, salmon, and the dessert sampler). As far as the cocktails: the smoked old fashioned and the Rosa Spritz stole the show. Two classy presentations worth the experience. Maggiano's has the same 'old world, Little Italy charm ... not sure if the red velvet curtains work for me anymore but it's a clean, well-maintained restaurant whose customer service, IMHO, remains at the top of the list. (Shout-out to Chris for his EXCELLENT service!) Note: Maggiano's is the birthday king's FAVORITE restaurant so we come here just about every year for him. To paraphrase a text from somebody in our group: "When I say we had a GOOD time - it's an understatement..." Check out the FEW pics and tell them you saw it on Yelp.

Everything was delicious. We stopped in for lunch after a return to Saks nearby. The server practically met us at the door and greeted us as we walked in. We had the seating of our choice without a reservation. The place was fairly empty with the holiday weekend and most presumed to be off to the beach or family. We started with the dreaded bread basket with real butter . The prosecco was chilled and refreshing. We enjoyed the vibe trying to guess the singers of the classic songs playing. The vegetable soup was well made and piping hot. The mussels with beans and sundried tomatoes and more bread for dunking were fantastic. The shrimp scampi with extra garlic and angel hair pasta was so tasty; admittedly I paid for all that richness later. I'm not accustomed to eating butter like that anymore. My mom had the lemon herb salmon over spinach and my daughter had the fettuccini. The only thing we finished was the mussels. The cake was complimentary -- and it was scrumptious. Our server was nice and attentive. The manager also came over and spoke with us. I hadn't been here in a long time but would return. It was an enjoyable afternoon and meal. As soon as we got home, my daughter and I changed into shorts and walked a little over a mile. That helped.
